In Loving Memory of
Jerry "Big Key" Anglin
1940 – 2022
The Keyholder to Justice in Walker County
“He never turned his back on anyone. If you called, Jerry showed up — with the key.”

Why ‘Big Key to Justice’?
Jerry “Big Key” Anglin was more than a bondsman — he was a symbol of second chances. Today, we honor his legacy by demanding fairness, transparency, and accountability in the Walker County Court of Law. Too many have been silenced, denied fair hearings, or forced into silence by fear or politics. This stops now.
Testimonials
Multiple cases in Walker County have demonstrated a breakdown in due process protections. Procedural requirements are inconsistently applied, and motions are often ignored or decided without hearings. When deadlines are missed due to restricted access or miscommunication, individuals are effectively denied their 14th Amendment rights.

In Walker County, judicial accountability appears to be virtually nonexistent. When parties file objections or raise legitimate claims of misconduct, those efforts are often buried procedurally. Without independent oversight or intervention, the risk of abuse of power remains unchecked.

Meghan Loubao
"I expected more from America’s justice system. Instead, I witnessed deliberate actions that silence voices and block truth. In Walker County, it feels like the system is manipulated to make people miss deadlines and lose their right to be heard — all while blame is passed off on website glitches or others. I thought courts were about truth. I’m deeply disappointed."

Ecclesiastes 8:11
Jerry Dean Anglin wasn’t just a bail bondsman. He was a lifeline. A legend. A symbol of second chances in Walker County. For over five decades, he walked the halls of the jail and courthouse with his signature key ring in hand, helping families reclaim their dignity, their freedom, and their future.
Locals didn’t just call him “Big Key” because of the physical keys he carried — they called him that because of what he unlocked: hope, trust, and fairness.
This movement — Big Key to Justice — is built in his honor.
We carry forward the values he stood for:
• That every voice deserves to be heard
• That justice must be transparent and accountable
• That no one should be locked away, forgotten, or denied their rights
Jerry believed in walking into dark places and pulling people back into the light. Now it’s our turn.
We dedicate this cause to him — to his memory, his service, and the thousands of lives he touched.
May we continue to turn the key, just as he did.
